There were many red flags with Joshua Powell even before he married a young cosmetologist by the name of Susan Cox. Controlling and with a propensity towards violence he also had a serious issues with spending and quickly landed the young couple in huge debt.
Joshua’s father was also a disturbing player in the couple’s relationship, regularly overstepping the mark with his daughter in law, before a series of events took a truly horrible, chilling turn.
